Warehouse Return Clerk - Temp to Perm available in Stratford, CT

Immediate temp-perm position available in Stratford, CT. Candidate will need good communication skills as you will have direct contact with the client when coordinating returns. A working knowledge of basic hand tools in order to repair product a need. Hours are 9am-6pm, Monday-Friday with occasional overtime. This position is ideal for a candidate with previous production and customer service experience.
Responsibilities:
Manage damaged stock by updating inventory, physically viewing, taking appropriate pictures of damages if needed, and maintaining damaged stock in warehouse.
Professionally and promptly communicates with clients
Professionally and efficiently coordinates claims processing with vendors, suppliers, shippers, etc.
Manage log and create sales tag of all items for delivery to showroom for scratch and dent sale.
Manage delivery log for all items being transported to the showroom, signed by receiver.
Consolidate damaged items by assigning new shelf locations within warehouse and showroom .
Repairing or assembling products when new repair parts arrive.
Assists warehouse department as needed.
Any tasks as assigned by management.
Working hours: 1st Shift
Qualifications:
Computer use experience a must
Solid verbal and written communication skills
Skills and Abilities:
A positive attitude and desire to constantly improve
Willingness to learn from training
Good time management and organization skills
