The IT Demand and Asset Planning (DAP) organization is responsible for managing and supporting the systems used for aircraft master production networks/scheduling, material requirements planning (MRP), and capacity planning/simulation. The individual will perform as the senior project lead for Master Production Aircraft Scheduling/Networks in the IT Demand and Asset Planning group. The individual will be responsible for leading projects specific to, but not limited to, SAP aircraft network and master production schedules across Sikorsky subsidiaries and businesses globally. SAP is the primary platform, and Production Planning and Project Systems are the main modules. In addition to these primary responsibilities, the individual may have opportunities to lead and participate in other projects in IT potentially in the areas of inventory/warehouse management, tooling and export compliance.Specific responsibilities will include: Becoming the subject matter expert in the Sikorsky SAP Project Systems/Networks solution, as well as other DAP functions performed within the PP module. Gaining a thorough understanding of the business processes relevant to the above areas Being responsible for managing the business customer/user relationship in the Master Schedule/Networks area, and in projects as assigned. Oversight and participation in system design, guiding the business customer and IT team to provide forward thinking solutions that not only meet the requested business requirements, but are sustainable and deliver long term value Exploring and selecting new IT technologies that will bring value to both the business user functions and the IT function Teaming with other IT functions such as Security, Infrastructure, Business Intelligence, etc as part of solution design and project management. Performing IT DAP lead role in SAP deployments according to the business plan. Following the Sikorsky IT SDLC and project methodology for project management and delivery. Managing the overall schedule, budget and resources required for solution development and implementation. Applying ACE tools and principles in solution development and issue resolution Working in and managing technical resources primarily in SAP, and also in .NET and BI (onsite, offshore, nearshore) Participating as a key member of the IT DAP team, escalating technical issues as necessary, partnering to create the overall system and business strategy/direction based on business process knowledge and system expertise.
Business Unit: SikorskyEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
