For Sale: 1965 Triumph TR4 in Stratford, Connecticut for sale in Stratford, CT

Vehicle Description As sooooooo many of these older cars come in.
a bit different and in some way, 'the good, the bad, and the ugly.
' But here it is.
.
an interesting TR4.
very good bodywork with no trace of bondo along the edges but some on the top of the rear fenders, BUT has fiberglass rockers.
Good or bad? A buyer's choice (would be easy to weld in steel factory rockers), floors and chassis are excellent with no sign of undercoating, holes, rust, or patches, and paint is presentable.
Engine.
no smoke, 65 psi oil pressure at operating temperature, compression (our tests:
148 to 153 psi in every cylinder) AND, hold on, yes, SOMEONE, SOME LONG TIME AGO, built a home made turbocharging set up.
And it works.
Smooth and powerful.
The rest? Interior is (at best) mediocre, could use seat coverings and proper carpets along with a new dash top.
Fortunately, the panels and wood dash are quite good.
Same with trunk, chrome, windshield, electricals, etc.
What else? Could use a bit of engine bay tidying work, the cardboard shroud over the radiator, and I would find a wire wheel conversion to be appetizing (on Triumphs, cheap and easy to do).
Top is fine as is the tonneau, all in all.
.
an interesting car that would certainly dazzle other Triumph owners (and even MG owners) at a local show.
It starts, it runs, it drives, and doesn't seem to have any unusual vices other than what one can see in the photos.
The good, the bad, and the ugly.
And , needless to say, we can do any improvements a new owner wants done.
