Vehicle Description Very solid carexcellent floors, no rust, no undercoating, very clean.
And, quite incredible, the ORIGINAL PAINT is excellent, no a single ding, dent, rubbed through spot, or even a stone nick.
To quote the current collector's car vernacular.
laser straight and mirror image paint.
And with only 73,000 original miles (2,200 per year), fuel injected aluminum twin can, new clutch just installed, 5 speed, power assist disc brakes, very good original cloth convertible top, alloy wheels, red with tan interior.
We snooped around underneath and found:
new calipers, new ball joins, new shocks, new fuel filter, even the part number sticker on the muffler.
CLEARLY this car has been properly serviced.
Tires are new Michelinstells us the last owner wasn't 'tight' with his spending on this car.
Starts instantly, no smoke cold or hot, excellent oil pressure, quiet valves, very good synchromesh action (and it is common to find a week second gear syncho on an Alfa trans), excellent driving, and the 'Graduate' model is simpler than the more complex 'Spider Veloce' in that this car has roll up windows, non power steering, but has working a/c.
Went for several test drive, stereo works, very lively acceleration, excellent ride, steering, handling, and braking.
All typical Alfa strengths.
The top goes up in a few seconds, latches tightly and is nice and quiet.
All in all, a very nice car that has an exterior that has never been patched, repaired, or beaten up.
Rare for a 33 year old car.
