For Sale: 1981 Fiat Spider in Stratford, Connecticut for sale in Stratford, CT

Vehicle Description Just in.
a very nice example from a Fiat collector.
.
went over the lower edges of the body from under the front bumper to the rear of the car and found no signs of plastic filler.
Paint is very nice and the red pin stripe is also a nice touch.
Floors are solid, no rust holes anywhere.
Runs great, no smoke on start up, no smoke when at operating temperature, quiet valves, and (as a late model fuel injected car) really goes with vivid acceleration.
Excellent clutch and gearbox, great ride, steering and handling.
Interior is close to 'as new' with excellent carpets, seats, interior panels, no cracks on or under the dash (a note:
black absorbs heat from the Sun and lack of cracks is often a good sign of always being kept in a garage), top is near new and car also has a boot cover.
Very clean engine bay and trunk, nice set of Fiat 'Spedeline' alloy wheels, 185/70 radials, wood dash is in very good condition, interior light works, and has a modern stereo/CD.
These are great driving cars and bridge the gap between the 'classic' MG/Triumph sorts cars and modern Miatas.
All of the sophistication one would expect, electronic ignition, thermostatically controlled cooling fans, an effective heater, and a top that goes up and down in a snap.
Yet with real classic style.
Which makes the Fiat 124 Spiders so appealing.
