For Sale: 1960 Austin-Healey 100M in Stratford, Connecticut for sale in Stratford, CT

1 of 9
Vehicle Description Excellent 1275cc engine, 155 psi compression in every cylinder, still stays at 65 psi oil pressure when fully warm), excellent semi close ratio ribcase transmission, very solid body (in white) and appears to have had floors added many years ago (hardly a 'virgin' but nice and solid with no rust holes), very good mostly new deep red interior, good original chrome.
All of the original gauges work, new top and tonneau, excellent original dash, sweet little car that has survived sixty ears and possibly has another sixty year left.
A note about engine/trans.
.
okay, not original but unless you know the subtle aesthetic differences between the original 948 and current 1275, one gets all of the best.
far more powerful, far more flexible, far more reliable, and with a stronger transmission with far better ratios.
All positives, no negatives.
And unless you know what to look for, nobody will know (or care).
Paint is older but looks great no cracks or bubbles, great shine.
Correct wheels and hub caps, nice wood steering wheel, seat belts, heater, new generator and reduction gearbox, new dual gauge, and.
.
lets face it, NO car in the world is cuter than a Bug Eye (all reasons I own one).
