Vehicle Description Just in.
and underwent a fairly comprehensive check over.
First of all.
floors look perfect, body is very straight, green paint is very nice with a few very small scratches and a few spots touched up with a small brush.
But from five fee away, gorgeous.
And went over the edges, rockers, lower doors, around the headlights with a magnet, NO sign of Bondo anywhere.
An excellent 45 year old TR6 body/floors/chassis.
And very few of these cars are bondo free.
Engine is strong, smooth, no smoke, 75-90 psi oil pressure, quiet valves, excellent gearbox and clutch, brakes work well, and everything works properly.
Carbs look new or completely rebuilt as they are spotless as are the springs, screws, linkage, etc.
AND NO clunks in the rear end, a common TR6 flaw.
Interior is very nice, seats look fairly new as are the carpets.
Top is brand new, trunk is very clean and we have a full interior panel kit due in.
Took a photo inside the spare wheel well, a common place to find rustnone.
And we noticed the expensive green hoses in the engine bay, clearly the last owner cared about his car.
What else? Exhaust is quiet, tires are fine, engine bay matches the exterior and is quite clean, wiring looks good, wood dash and dash top are excellent, and overall, a very nice TR6 in a wonderful combination of colors.
