Vehicle Description A very thoroughly rebuilt exampleexcellent body with very good deep BRG paint, excellent interior with leather seats, wire wheels, cloth top and tonneau, carpeted trunk, very good chrome and trim throughout.
Very recently rebuilt engine, rebuilt carbs, new engine mounts, hoses, new alternator, new wiring harness big job to replace what what an improvement for long term wiring and electrical reliability, BEST of all, a 5 speed gearbox installation with new clutch, new driveshaft, new trans mountings.
HUGE improvement over most MGBs.
first of all, a much stronger unit than the stock transmission, second, much closer ratios without the big 'hole' between 2nd and 3rd gears, a true 5th gear, and finally IF and WHEN a clutch has to be replaced, unlike a normal MGB, the trans can be dropped saving a lot of money in labor costs.
Looking under the front end, we can see new rotors and calipers, new lower control arms, clearly a lot of work was done to this car.
Needless to say, starts instantly, runs flawlessly, no smoke, excellent oil pressure, drives very well and looks great.
A very nice ungraded MGB.
(sorry for the mediocre photos, car came in, went right into the showroom, a bit difficult to get good photos when the sun is shining in through the windows).
