Out of state buyers are more than welcome to make an appointment in person anytime Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm at our Stratford, Connecticut, facility.
We are just off of I-95 and easy to get to.
This 1966 Ford Mustang started out life as a simple 289 2 barrel C Code, built out of the Metchuen, New Jersey, plant.
Over the years, it has been modified into a GT350 Tribute, wearing the iconic Wimbledon White paint with blue Shelby racing stripes, as well as the muscular side scoops, GT fog lights, hood pins, and hood scoop.
This Mustang also features a wonderfully period correct Magnum 500 wheel setup, with beefy Goodyear Polyglas tires.
The interior is fitted with the standard black vinyl interior, yet also features AC, a functioning JVC radio, a USB charger port, Shelby door sills, and a glovebox which appears to be signed by Carroll Shelby.
Both the interior and exterior show signs of wear; small paint chips, older chrome trim, and seat stitching coming undone are noted.
Still, the car presents well.
The engine bay features a new 4 barrel Holley carburetor, as well as an Edelbrock Performer intake manifold.
New floor pans, carpet, front frame rails, sway bar end links, exhaust system, window bushings, front and rear shocks, distributor cap, rotor, spark plugs, plug wires, and additional parts have been installed recently in preparation for the sale.
However, the restoration history on this example is not currently documented, so the age of the paint, and most of the interior, is currently unknown.
Receipts from 2021 show the wiring harness was inspected, and that the AC system was inspected.
A new data plate has been ordered through Marti Report, and will come with the purchase of this Mustang.
Overall, this example is ready to hit the roads with it's new owner.
Whether those roads are fun filled backroads, or the track; this Mustang is a great driver's example, ready for more upgrades, or just having fun as is.
A clean Mississippi title is included.
