For Sale: 1972 MG MGB GT in Stratford, Connecticut for sale in Stratford, CT

Vehicle Description A car that arrived in fairly rough condition BUT one that seemed to be destined for a bright future.
As arrived.
miserable original paint but no exterior rust (nor need for repair).
Sorry floors (however) in desperate need of repair or replacement.
Ran very well and the only issue with the drive train was a nosy second gear.
Excellent headliner, dash, seats, etc.
So, we are well along in the prep worksmoothed out the bodywork, sanded spots down to the bare metal, not in primer.
Pulled the engine and transmission, rebuilt the engine (rings, bearings, oil pump, head work, etc.
), new clutch, and installed a rebuilt transmission.
Fitted a new 32/36 DGV Weber carb, new chrome headers, new door panels, a new burled wood dash , new digital stereo, have a new carpet set to install, and are about to cut the entire floor out and install new factory floors.
At the same time, brakes were sticking a bit, installed new calipers.
Chrome was quite good and will be reused.
Exhaust quiet, all gauges work, will be a very nice MGBGT when done.
And 1972-1974 are the best,in my opinion, MGBGTs (I own a white '74)_ with dash air vents and glove box.
Now, at the moment, we haven't decided on a color and, when painting, we will paint the engine bay, under the hood, and door jambs for a complete color change.
AND RIGHT NOW, a lucky buyer can but whatever color he may want.
ANd ADD whatever options he may desire.
Air conditioning, sunroof, powerful auxiliary heater, wire wheels or alloy wheels, the list is fairly endless.
But as you see in the description, we have already added a lot.
Available immediately in choice of color.
Call for further details or to discuss how you want it finished.
