Vehicle Description CLEARLY some past owner's extensive project with a lot of time, effort and (of particular interest) MONEY invested to build one person's idea of a super MGB.
Virtually perfect floor/chassis, body and (black) paint, not a spec of rust visible anywhere, an incredible amount of quality partscompletely rebuilt engine, higher compression pistons, balanced, high lift camshaft, aluminum head ($1,600 alone), new 45 DCOE Weber with new chromed headers, rebuilt gearbox, new alloy radiator,, new Aeroquip oil lines to the new oil cooler, rebuilt suspension, all new brakes (including new calipers), servo assist (aka 'power brakes'), slotted cross drilled rotors, new 16 Minilite style alloy wheels, new 195/55 V rated 16 inch Toyo high performance tires, spotless engine bay and trunk, new wiring harness, and.
All new interior, carpets, seats, panels, etc.
, new convertible top, tonneau cover, leather steering wheel, even heat shielding under the bonnet.
An incredibly impressive car.
What else? Well, remember, this car came from the factory with three tiny negatives.
.
ugly, gutless, and ill handling.
But now, with a high performance engine and 45 DCOE Weber and headers, (no longer gutless), lowered to the pre 1975 ride height (no longer ill handling and ungainly looking), and minus the ugly/heavy rubber bumpers.
beautiful.
However, by personal choice, the last owner fitted a proper MGB grille but chose not to fit bumpers which we can easily do.
We have, in stock, all new MGB bumpers, brackets, and can fit them to the car if one prefers.
Whats left? Well, it has the original MGB radio blank, no speakers, nor antenna.
A wonderful sign that this car was never owned by a 'kid.
' And with or without the bumpers, is a beautiful MGB inside and out and in every possible way and in every possible view.
We now offer financing at competitive rates for all vehicles in our inventory.
